Hello, I am Ugochi, a counsellor and therapist with years of experience in helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups navigate through life's challenges. I specialize in depression, anxiety, addiction recovery, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief and bereavement, shame, guilt, anger management, relationship, family and couples counseling, stress management, work and life balance, and many other mental health issues. I provide evidence-based therapy with trainings and certifications in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) , Grief and Bereavement Counselling, Couples Counselling, and Anger Management and Conflict Resolution With a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counselling, I provide empathetic and client-centered support tailored to each client’s needs. I provide a safe space where client can reflect, feel supported, gently explore their feelings, talk about unresolved or traumatic issues, gain clarity, self awareness and learn coping strategies to help deal with the issues. As a marriage and family therapist, I am passionate about helping couples, relationships, families and marriages gain stability, rebuild trust, build intimacy, learn to communicate and resolve conflicts effectively. I am dedicated to helping relationships, families and marriages attain health, stability, satisfaction and happiness. In summary, I identify, analyze and diagnose mental health issues in clients, develop successful treatment plans and foster personal growth and development.
