Abigail Oni

I’m Abigail Oni, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Trauma and Inner Child Healing Specialist, and Hypnotherapist with over seven years of experience supporting adults through emotional healing and psychological growth. My work focuses on helping individuals understand the connection between their past experiences, emotional patterns, relationships, and present-day struggles. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, but creating a safe and compassionate space where you can understand yourself more deeply and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. I have completed training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, and integrate this trauma-informed approach with evidence-based modalities including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, Hypnotherapy, and Compassion-Focused interventions, tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs. I work with adults experiencing the effects of childhood trauma, unresolved emotional wounds, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, people-pleasing, boundaries challenges, grief, and recurring patterns that feel difficult to understand or change. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, become curious about your experiences, understand the parts of you that learned to survive, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
