Abraham Naibo Abraham is a licensed Clinical Psychologist / therapist with over 7 years of clinical experience. He has worked with the Intersect Consortium, the largest provider of mental health services in Africa. He was appointed as the Lead Clinical Psychologist at Synapse Oak, where he provided hospital-based rehabilitation. Abraham's professional experience also includes roles at Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Nigerian Army Hospital Kaduna and Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta. Abraham specializes in providing interventions for adults and adolescents facing a wide range of psychological difficulties, including depression, grief, relationship problems, anxiety, acute reaction to stress, sleep disorders, phobias, work-life balance, substance abuse , anger, PTSD, SGBV, suicide prevention in schools, LGBTQ+ community and at risk group using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Abraham has attended several conferences and training, including "Understanding Addiction" by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (USA). He is certified in Advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Community – Based- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies and Displacement by IOM UN Migration. He holds memberships in several professional organizations, including American Psychological Association (APA), Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP), International Society for Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction (ICUDDR), Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria, (BRECAN) and currently the General Secretary Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), Edo State Chapter.
