Focused support
Stress is normal; burnout is what happens when it never lets up. You are tired in a way sleep does not fix, you have stopped caring about work you used to be good at, small things make you snap, and your body keeps score with headaches, ulcers, a tight chest or blood pressure your doctor has mentioned. In Nigeria it comes from banking floors and tech sprints, from running a business in a bad economy, from being the one everyone depends on, and from traffic that eats three hours a day.
Sessions fit around your working day. You meet your therapist inside the Mytherapist.ng app, by video, voice or chat, from your office, your car or home, early or late. You book and pay in the app.
This page suits people who are still functioning but at a cost, people who have had a health scare their doctor linked to stress, carers and the strong ones who hold a family together, and anyone whose burnout has started to look like depression. The therapists here work on what you can change at work and at home, and on how you recover when you cannot change the job.
A first session maps where the pressure comes from, what it is doing to your body and mood, and what has to give. You usually leave with one concrete change to try, and meet weekly or fortnightly after that. Browse the therapists below to compare backgrounds and rates, and book a first session when you are ready.
Each therapist below is licensed and verified. Read their background and rates, then book by video, voice or chat.

Good to know
Burnout is tied to a role: work, caring, running a home. Away from it you feel more like yourself. Depression follows you everywhere and takes the pleasure out of things that have nothing to do with the job. The two overlap, and burnout that is ignored can become depression. A therapist can tell them apart in the first session and treat whichever it is.
Yes. Even when the job stays, you can change how you set limits, how you recover in the hours you do have, what you say yes to, and the thoughts that turn a hard day into a verdict on you. Many people also use therapy to plan a way out without burning bridges.
Stress and burnout often improve within six to ten sessions once the main pressures are named and a few habits change. Some people then keep a monthly session as a check-in during busy seasons.
Yes, with one limit. What you tell your therapist stays between you. The exception is a risk to life: if your therapist believes there's a real and immediate risk of serious harm to you or to someone else, including a child, they may need to act on it. That can mean contacting emergency services or someone who can reach you. They'll tell you when they're doing this, wherever it's safe to.
Each therapist sets their own rate, from ₦7,500 a session. Some therapists offer a student rate or a free first consultation, and it shows on their profile below.
