Earn rewards with bounties on Mytherapist.ng

You can now earn wallet credit or free months of Prime for telling people about Mytherapist.ng. Here’s how bounties work and how to start.

A lot of people find us because a friend mentioned us. Someone posts about a breathing exercise that helped, or tells a group chat that you can see a therapist from your phone, and someone who has been putting it off finally signs up.

Bounties are how we say thank you for that. A bounty is a small task, like a post, a short video or a written story about your experience. When you finish one and send us proof, our team checks it and pays the reward.

Where to find bounties

Open the Mytherapist.ng app, go to Profile and tap Rewards. The Rewards screen has your referral link, what you’ve earned so far and the bounties open right now. Tap a bounty to see what it asks for, what it pays and what proof to send.

What you can do

The list changes, but bounties usually fall into a few kinds:

  • Posts. Share a post on X, your WhatsApp Status or a Facebook group about how you use Mytherapist.ng. The tools count: a breathing exercise, a mood check-in, your journal, an article you liked.
  • Videos. Make a TikTok, an Instagram Reel or a YouTube walkthrough of the app in use.
  • How-to threads. Show people how to do one thing in the app, step by step.
  • Your story. Write or record something about your experience with Mytherapist.ng, in your own words.

Bigger tasks pay more. A video that takes an afternoon to make pays more than a single post.

What you earn

Each bounty pays one of two things, and you see which before you start:

  • Wallet credit. It goes into your Mytherapist.ng wallet, and you can use it to pay for sessions.
  • Free months of Prime. You claim it from the Journey hub in the app. See What is Mytherapist.ng Prime?

Most bounties ask you to add your own link to the post. If a friend signs up through it and books their first paid session, you also get the usual ₦500 referral reward.

How to take part

  1. Go to Profile → Rewards and pick a bounty.
  2. Do what it asks. Many bounties have a Share caption button with your link already in the text.
  3. Send your proof from the bounty’s page. Depending on the bounty, that’s a link to your post, a screenshot, or both.
  4. Our team checks it. You’ll get a notification when it’s approved, and the reward is added. If it isn’t approved, the notification tells you why.

You can see everything you’ve sent, and where each one is, under My submissions.

Your privacy comes first

  • You never have to say you’re in therapy. Talk about a tool you like or why you’d recommend us. That’s enough.
  • Keep sessions off screen. In videos and screenshots, show the app’s tools only. Never show a session, a chat, a journal entry or a therapist’s name.
  • Stories need your permission. For bounties about your own experience, we may quote what you shared in our marketing, so we ask for your consent before you send it. Share only what you’re comfortable with, and don’t name your therapist.

The rules

  • You need to be 18 or older.
  • Add #ad to every post you’re rewarded for, so your followers know it’s sponsored.
  • You can earn up to ₦20,000 from bounties each calendar month.
  • Each bounty has a limit on how many times you can do it, and a limited number of spots overall. When they’re gone, the bounty closes.
  • Post where the rules allow it. In a Facebook group, for example, only post where recommendations are welcome.

If you’re struggling right now

Bounties are a way to help others find support. They are not a replacement for getting help yourself. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112 (or 767 in Lagos) or Safe Place Nigeria on 0800 800 2000. The full list is at Helplines.
