Mytherapist.ng Prime is an optional membership that adds extra content and flexibility on top of the app. Therapy stays pay-per-session with or without it. Prime costs ₦1,000 a month (or ₦10,000 a year) for one person, and ₦2,000 a month (or ₦18,000 a year) for a family of up to six.
What Prime gives you
- Free reschedules and cancellations. Prime members pay no reschedule or cancellation fee, and the app shows "Covered by Prime" where the fee would be. When you cancel, the full amount you paid for the session goes back to your wallet. Without Prime, a reschedule costs ₦500 (more than 6 hours before the session) or ₦1,000 (less than 6 hours before), and a cancellation costs 20% of the session price, minimum ₦1,000.
- Free anonymous booking. Booking anonymously normally adds ₦500 to a session. Prime removes that charge.
- Premium guided meditations. The longer audio programmes, for sleep, anxiety and more.
- Premium breathing exercises. Extra programmes such as Focus Flow and Sleep Wind-Down.
- Premium journal templates.
- Custom mood reasons in the mood tracker.
- Unlimited future letters. Without Prime you can keep 2 unopened letters at a time.
- Read your therapy messages after a session ends.
What stays free
Booking and attending therapy, messaging around your sessions, journaling, mood tracking, self-assessments, the free guided meditations, and the breathing exercises made for hard moments: Quick Reset, Calm Anxiety and Panic Reset. Those three are free for everyone, Prime or not.

The benefits are the same on both plans. Family simply covers more people, each on their own account with their own Prime access.
Prime does not pay for therapy sessions. Sessions are paid per session, or covered by your organisation or HMO.
