Client and session notes

Private notes on clients and sessions, who can see them (only you), and keeping them safe with an app PIN.

Updated 9 October 20261 min readBy the Mytherapist.ng support team

You can keep private notes on your clients and sessions in the Caregiver App or on the web dashboard. They're yours alone. Users never see them, and Mytherapist.ng support can't read them.

What you can record

  • A general note.
  • A note tied to a client.
  • A note tied to a specific appointment.

Notes are treated as clinical and confidential.

Who can see your notes

Only you. Your client can't see them, and support can't read them, even when you ask for help with an account or payment question.

What your client can share with you

A user can choose to share their journal or mood log with you from their own app. That's their choice, and it's one way: you don't share your notes with them.

Keep your notes private on your phone

Set a 4-digit app-unlock PIN in the Caregiver App.

  • After 5 wrong tries, the app locks for 15 minutes.
  • Forgot PIN sends a 5-digit code to your email. There's a short wait between code requests.
  • The PIN only unlocks the app. It doesn't affect joining or completing sessions.

See The Caregiver App and the web dashboard.
