Rescheduling a session

Move a session to a new time, what it costs, and when it is free.

Updated 28 October 2026By the Mytherapist.ng support team

Plans change. You can move a session to a new time in the app, and you'll see any fee before you confirm.

How to reschedule

  1. Open the session from the Therapy tab and tap Reschedule.
  2. Pick a new day, up to 30 days ahead, and a time.
  3. Add a reason if you like, then tap Request new time.

Your therapist then confirms the new time, just as they would a new booking. If they can't make it, the session is refunded in full to your wallet.

What it costs

  • More than 6 hours before the start: ₦500
  • Within 6 hours of the start: ₦1,000
  • Prime members: free

The fee is paid from your wallet. If you have a reschedule voucher, you can use it instead — tap the gift icon in My Wallet to see your Gifts & Vouchers.

Missed your session?

You can still reschedule a missed session from the same screen, for a small fee that's shown before you confirm.

In-person sessions

You can reschedule an in-person session once, for free, up to 24 hours before it starts.

Don't see Reschedule on your session? Message us and we'll help you move it.
