Cancel Prime or change your plan

To stop Mytherapist.ng Prime billing, open Profile → Manage Prime and switch Auto-renew off. You keep every benefit until the expiry date shown on that screen, and nothing is charged after that. An active subscription can't be cancelled early, and there is no refund for the time left.

Stop future billing

1. Open the Profile tab and tap Manage Prime.
2. Switch Auto-renew off.
3. Note the expiry date on the same screen. That is the day your access ends.

If you look for a cancel button, the app says "Sorry, you cannot cancel your subscription until the subscription expires." That is expected. Turning auto-renew off is how you cancel: your membership runs to the end of what you have already paid for and then stops. No refund is issued for the remaining time.

Switch between monthly and yearly

On Manage Prime, use Renewal term to switch between monthly and yearly renewal.

Switch between Individual and Family

You can upgrade or downgrade between Prime Individual and Prime Family from Manage Prime. Two things to know:

• The change is scheduled for your next renewal. There is no immediate charge and no proration, so nothing changes until the renewal date shown on the screen.
• Moving from Family to Individual drops the extra member seats at that renewal.

Only the plan manager can change the plan. If someone else manages your family plan, the app says "Only the plan manager can change the Prime plan."

Gifted and invite-code memberships

A membership redeemed from an invite code doesn't auto-renew, so there is nothing to switch off: it runs until it expires. It also can't switch plans; the app says "Invite code subscriptions cannot switch plans."

Once Prime lapses, the standard fees apply again: ₦500 or ₦1,000 to reschedule, and 20% of the session price (minimum ₦1,000) to cancel. Subscribe again and the waiver comes back.
