4 licensed therapists for suicidal thoughts
Licensed therapists who work with people having thoughts of suicide. You book sessions ahead, by video, voice or chat, for ongoing support.
Focused support
Thoughts of suicide, or of not wanting to be here, are more common than people say. The therapists here work with people who have them, so you won't have to explain from the start.
Therapy here is ongoing support that you book ahead. It isn't crisis care, and no therapist is on call. If you might act on these thoughts, call Safe Place Nigeria on 0800 800 2000. It's toll-free and answered 24 hours a day. If you're in immediate danger, call 112, or 767 in Lagos, rather than waiting for a session or a reply.
Browse the therapists below to compare backgrounds and rates, and book a first session when you're ready.
Each therapist below is licensed and verified. Read their background and rates, then book by video, voice or chat.

No. Mytherapist.ng is not an emergency service, and there's no therapist or clinician on call. Sessions are booked ahead. For help now, call Safe Place Nigeria on 0800 800 2000, or 112. More free lines are at mytherapist.ng/helplines.
It can. A therapist can help you understand what sets the thoughts off, plan what to do when they're strong, and work on what's making life hard. It works alongside crisis lines, not instead of them.
Yes, with one limit. What you tell your therapist stays between you. The exception is a risk to life: if your therapist believes there's a real and immediate risk of serious harm to you or to someone else, including a child, they may need to act on it. That can mean contacting emergency services or someone who can reach you. They'll tell you when they're doing this, wherever it's safe to.
Each therapist sets their own rate, shown on their profile below, so you can compare before you book.
