15 licensed therapists for anger management and conflict
Licensed therapists for anger that comes too fast, lasts too long or has started to frighten the people you love. Sessions by video, voice or chat, from anywhere in Nigeria.
Focused support
Anger itself is not the problem. Anger that arrives in seconds, that you cannot talk yourself down from, that has you shouting at your children, punching walls, fighting in traffic or saying things at work you cannot take back: that is worth working on. Underneath it there is usually something else, such as stress, old hurt, shame, feeling disrespected, or a childhood where anger was the only emotion allowed. Many people come here because a partner gave them an ultimatum. That is a fine reason.
Sessions are inside the Mytherapist.ng app, by video, voice or chat. You book and pay in the app and meet from wherever you are. Anger work is practical, so expect to practise skills between sessions, not just talk.
This page suits people whose temper is damaging a relationship or a career, people who go quiet and then explode, anyone who feels anger as a constant low simmer, and people who have been told to get help and are not sure what that means. It also suits couples where conflict has become the whole relationship. If there is violence at home, your therapist will talk with you about safety first.
A first session looks at when and how the anger shows up, what it costs you, and what happens in your body just before you lose it. You will leave with an early-warning plan to try. Browse the therapists below to compare backgrounds and rates, and book a first session when you are ready.
Each therapist below is licensed and verified. Read their background and rates, then book by video, voice or chat.

Good to know
You learn to spot the build-up early, in your body and your thoughts; to pause and cool down before you act; to say what you actually need instead of attacking; and to deal with the stress or hurt feeding the anger. Most therapists here use CBT-based skills, with homework between sessions.
Many people see change within eight to twelve weekly sessions, often sooner for the explosive outbursts. Anger rooted in trauma or in a long-running relationship problem takes longer. Your therapist will give you an honest estimate after the first session.
Yes, and coming on your own is a strong first step. You will work on your side of the pattern, and many couples then come together once things are calmer. If the conflict includes violence, the therapist will put safety first and may suggest a different plan.
Yes, with one limit. What you tell your therapist stays between you. The exception is a risk to life: if your therapist believes there's a real and immediate risk of serious harm to you or to someone else, including a child, they may need to act on it. That can mean contacting emergency services or someone who can reach you. They'll tell you when they're doing this, wherever it's safe to.
Each therapist sets their own rate, from ₦12,000 a session. Some therapists offer a student rate or a free first consultation, and it shows on their profile below.
