Sending and receiving gifts

Send a gift from your wallet by email; the recipient redeems a 10-character code that credits their wallet.

You can send a gift from your Mytherapist.ng wallet to someone by email. They receive a 10-character gift code, and redeeming it credits their wallet.

Sending a gift

  • The amount is taken from your wallet balance, so top up first if you need to. If the balance is too low you'll see "Insuficient funds."
  • You'll be asked for your current password to confirm.
  • You can't send a gift to yourself. You'll see "You cannot send a gift to yourself."
  • If the person isn't on Mytherapist.ng yet, send it to their email address.

Receiving a gift

Redeem the 10-character gift code in the app and the amount is credited to your wallet. You can then spend it on sessions like any other balance. See wallet top-ups and your balance.

"Gift code is invalid."

This means the code is wrong or has already been redeemed. Each code works once.

  1. Check the code character by character against what you were sent.
  2. Ask the sender whether it has already been redeemed.

Gifting Prime

A wallet gift is different from gifting a Mytherapist.ng Prime subscription. See gift Prime.

A gift code can only be redeemed once, so keep it private until the person you sent it to has used it.
